From my undergraduate dissertation I established that social housing dwellings lack care, quality and originality. The works also established single parents as a large percentile of users for social housing. The project explores redesigning housing units for this specific market in a city centre location with an aim to peak positive social interactions through indoor group spaces. A key focus of the project was creating symmetrical adjacent units to connect single parents carrying out everyday tasks at the same time of day.
